Sip away
Australian research has recently stated that in order to keep cool whilst exercising in the hot weather, you should sip water half an hour before your workout. This research found that by lowering your body temperature before you exercise you are actually increasing the amount of heat that your body can tolerate, helping you to exercise harder for longer.
Run backwards
A recent study has found that women who did backwards running, for a short period of time, three times a week for six weeks at a time; became aerobically fitter than those who stuck to straightforward running.
Mix it up
Recent research carried out by the university of Alabama has recommended that by mixing omega-3 rich chia seeds into an energy drink; actually helped exercisers go for longer.
Eat strawberries
Recent research has found that by eating a punnrt or two of strawberries weekly, you can lower your chances and protect yourself against certain health problems such as diabetes and alzheimers disease. This is because strawberries are packed full of the antioxidant fisetin, which aids memory by protecting neurons in the brain.
Help kill cancer
Recent research published in the Journal of Molecular Nutrition and Food Research found that theaflavin-2 which is found in black or oolong tea can help fight against cancer, so sip up.
